The IfBC-EU aimed to identify the availability of climate-aligned investments to retail investors on the selected national markets, raise awareness of individual investors of the impact their money/investments can have on climate, inform them about the existing standards and products as well as identify policy recommendations that may be necessary to facilitate the social changes on national and EU level. Through local roundtables and circle groups, we initiated social dialogue, raised awareness and understanding of financial literacy and discussed climate-aligned investments for retail investors, while promoting knowledge-building in relation to climate aligned investing to leverage financial return for existing and new investors.
